Dr. Mark DaCambra

Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. DaCambra is an Orthopaedic Trauma and Sport Medicine Surgeon. He is a retired Canadian Armed Forces Lieutenant Colonel who served for over 25 years. He has been deployed on humanitarian missions with the Disaster Assistance Response Team as an Emergency Physician, and multiple deployments in conflict environments in Afghanistan and Iraq as an Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon.

Most recently, he served as Clinical Director of the Canadian Armed Forces Mobile Surgical Resuscitation Team. He completed Undergraduate, Graduate, and Medical School training at the University of Toronto, Family Medicine Residency at Queen’s University, and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Calgary, with Fellowship training in Sport Medicine and Trauma at the University of British Columbia. He currently works as an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor, Educator, Clinician, and Researcher with multiple publications.

In addition, Dr. DaCambra has experience as an Independent Medical Examiner having completed training with a Certification in Medicolegal Expertise (CMLE) and Catastrophic Impairment Evaluation (C-CAT) through the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators.
